I traveled with my two young daughters to Florida over the holidays. We took a total of 4 flights and many ferry rides. I did not see any passengers not wearing their masks correctly. Interestingly, the ‘mask up’ rules in Florida (at least in the Key West vicinity) are more stringent than those here in Charlottesville. Everyone is required to wear a mask, whether inside or outside, even exercising. Masks can only be removed in one’s private accommodations or when eating meals. We ate meals at outdoor venues, or in our cottage. I don’t think I saw a single employee at Sunset Key maskless during my whole trip, whether landscape workers, housekeeping, or those tending to the pool and beach guests.
My girls had an absolute ball at this family-friendly resort. We felt very safe there and thus the girls enjoyed tons of freedom, running all over the island with new friends they made.
I would definitely recommend Sunset Key!
