PACKING 101 GRADUATE SETS SAIL TO ALASKA

I can’t thank you enough for the packing demonstration and tips.  I felt like a seasoned pro by the time we got back and I must say the Eagle Creek compression packing cubes were a life-saver. I’ll never go on another trip without them.  As we were going through the TSA security line in Seattle to come home, they flagged my carry-on and pulled me aside. The man scanning my carry-on asked if he could open it and I said sure. He said, “My goodness, that is the most neatly packed suitcase I’ve ever seen!” I thanked him and said, “I had a wonderful instructor!”

We did feel outfitted perfectly for everything the trip had in store for us. Thankfully, we were blessed with the most amazing weather. Not a drop of rain from start to finish and 65 to 70 degrees most days. Nonetheless, our Marmot coats were perfect for just about everything.

One tip I didn’t listen to but will in the future:  we definitely packed too many clothes. We only wore half. So next time I’ll pack, then put half of it back!
