Julie, again, the parador in Nerja was just incredible. The breakfast, like the one at the Intercontinental was hmmm … I’m at a loss for words to describe every single food item. I’ve never had pate for breakfast, but what the hell.
The property is immaculately manicured. All rooms face the ocean. But the lawn is large, so green, the pool dark blue water, with lots of chaise lounges for those who didn’t go to the beach. There is an elevator that is 6 stories that you take to the beach, thus the incredible view from the property.
You will be appalled but we spent two days on the beach surrounded by fascinating European families that were fun to watch. 100 yards up the beach was a board walk of sorts and right on the sand were restaurants with incredible seafood, as you would know.
The first picture is the lift. The 3rd is from our room as is the sunrise. The last is the pretty window from Casa Morisca. Love those people and the hotel was awesome. The last night we walked way up the hill behind the back of the hotel to a two-story restaurant. We were on the deck on the second floor and were across from the Alhambra. Needless to say the view, well, we’re pretty happy with everywhere we were.
Thanks again for everything. -Gail and Jack, Spain, September 2015
