LAND OF FIRE & ICE

VIT’s (Very Important Traveler’s) Allen and Terry ventured to the land of fire and ice.  Hearing Terry describe just a small bit about their adventure makes us so happy that we’re able to help people have these amazing experiences! 

Greetings from the magical city of Reykjavik, Iceland. We decided to take our first plane ride since March 2020, picking Iceland on a whim. We didn’t quite know what to expect, and now… strolling around in this place at the end of the earth is turning out to be more whimsical than we ever imagined, reinforcing our faith in peace and hope. And again, a renewed sense of awe in nature!

I haven’t quite figured out what it is yet, but there’s a sense of peace, serenity, joy, and calm that maybe comes from the Icelandic people’s love and respect for nature. We literally met an Icelandic man named “Frosti”, and when I awkwardly reacted by saying “are you for real”, he kindly explained that Frosti is a common name here, and most of the Icelandic people’s names are derived from nature.
