PACKING CUBES – LET ME COUNT THE WAYS

Here at Peace Frogs Travel/Outfitters we preach the packing cube system to keep your suitcase organized, save space, and pack smarter in a smaller piece of luggage. Over the years, clients return to tell us how much they love this packing system, and often share how they use their packing cubes apart from keeping their suitcase organized. Here is a list of 13 different ways you can use these beloved cubes:

  1. House snacks in a purse or tote for you or a child. This way, your granola bars do not get smashed at the bottom of your bag.
  2. Heading to the pool? Keep a clean set of clothes separate and dry in your pool bag with an Eagle Creek Specter cube.
  3. Use a half cube to hold swim team items (cap, goggles, and bathing suit).
  4. Use a clean/dirty cube in your gym bag to keep dirty gym clothes separate from fresh clothing.
  5. Don’t want to carry a separate gym bag? Toss your gym clothes in a cube and drop into your work bag to keep them separated from other items.
  6. A quarter cube is the perfect size for a first aid kit. Keep Band-Aids, Q-tips, tweezers, ibuprofen and more in a small, contained space.
  7. If you are always cold, keep a cardigan rolled up in a half cube in your purse. The cube will protect it from snagging on zippers or getting dirty.
  8. Use a quarter cube to keep chargers and headphones from tangling.
  9. Packing cubes are ideal for backpackers to carry as they are lightweight and can hold an extra set of clothes, warmer layers, and they keep clean items separate from dirty gear.
  10. Use a half cube to carry diapers in a diaper bag.
  11. Send your kids to summer camp or away for the weekend with daily outfits separated into individual cubes.
  12. Put makeup, lip balm, and other daily essentials in a quarter cube in a purse to make them quick to find and easy to transfer from bag to bag.
  13. Keep cubes in drawers to house small items like travel toiletries, hair accessories, jewelry, vitamins, and chargers.
