It was a great experience all around, Rochelle. The trip was well organized and the activities were great. Everyone was amazingly friendly and I never felt like there were ulterior motives, angling for tips, hustling, etc. The trip arrangements were “thoughtless” in the best possible way as we really didn’t have to work to figure out what was happening next while we were on the ground. And that speaks mountains to what you were able to accomplish with the folks on the ground there in advance of the trip. So much appreciated!
The beach was awesome and just what we needed, but I thought the rain forest was tremendous. The drive from Arenal to Tamarindo was well worth the time just for the sake of traveling across the country and cresting the mountain divide.
We’re still held in the Costa Rican thrall and hoping for howler monkeys in our backyard cedars. This trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! –Erica, Mark & Family, Costa Rica, June 2015
