As I age (like this majestic male cat), and my loyal clients age along with me, I hear from them more and more frequently: Go! Just, go, go, go! “Go, while you have your health”. Last week, one of my long-time clients said, “I’ve now got the time and money to travel, but I can’t go to all of the places I still dream about like Myanmar or Japan”. She’s 79 years old and desires to explore and stretch her wings—and was visibly moved that her situation doesn’t allow for this type of travel any longer.
Another of my long-time clients, a couple on the eve of their 90th birthdays, have been disappointed that they’ve been unable to travel due to a medical set-back. But, they’re excited to be back on track and so looking forward to what had become their annual one-month September holiday (i.e. South Africa, Antarctica, Norway + the Fjords, New Zealand, Croatia, Eastern Europe and much more). A trans-Atlantic re-positioning cruise for this year, perhaps?
I will do my best to heed their words.
